What’s new in Wndy, October 2026: birthdays, cases and video meetings
In October, we’re releasing three new features in the Wndy platform: birthday reminders for your employees, an easier way to create cases, and video meetings that turn into ready-made notes. All three share the same goal: less time on administration and more time for your people.
Never miss a birthday
You can now add your employees' birthdays directly in Wndy. Five days before, the admin and the employee's immediate manager receive an email, so there's time to mark the occasion.
The birthday also appears in the employee list. The personal identity number is optional; if it's missing, simply entering the birthday is enough.
Your case goes straight to your HR expert
We've made it easier to create a case in workflows. Here's how it works:
1. Give the case a title and choose which HR expert you'd like help from.
2. Write your question as a message in the case. The HR expert is notified immediately.
3. Upload any documents in the document field.
Everything related to the case, including the question and the documents, is then gathered in one place.
Meetings that turn into ready-made notes
We're now trialling recording and transcription of video meetings with your HR expert. After the meeting, you'll receive:
● A summary of the entire meeting.
● Key points – the most important things you discussed.
● Action items – what needs to be done and by whom.
You can focus on the conversation instead of taking notes.
Updated data processing agreement
We've also updated our data processing agreement. You don't need to do anything, but the latest version is always available on our website.
